Known for being a cultural city filled with historical buildings, Quebec City is also a haven for a wellness vacation. In the summer, rent a bike and glide along the St. Lawrence River from downtown to the Montmorency Falls and beyond. Then be pampered at a relaxing spa to re-fuel your body for more sightseeing.

Cycling in Quebec City

Quebec residents love their bikes and have made it easy for visitors to join them along the paths outlining the city. Along the St. Lawrence River are lovely views and the paths make for a relaxing outdoor adventure.

If gliding through the core of Quebec isn’t enough for you, take the Corridor du Littoral bike path (contact Quebec City Tourism for a bike map, see below) for 26 km along the St. Lawrence River. There are countless other trails and paths throughout the city, so check out the maps to see how they all connect.

Renting a Bike

It’s simple to grab a bike for a few hours, or the day, in order to explore outside of the city walls. Pack some snacks, a bottle of water, and get ready to sweat it out along the beautiful banks of the St. Lawrence River.
